2024 Mazda CX-90 Pricing Revealed

The luxury automaker has finally revealed pricing for the 2024 Mazda CX-90, the hip new three-row SUV, which will go on sale in the Spring of 2023. Pricing estimates for the SUV mark the first detailed look at what’s to come from the Japanese automaker’s plug-in hybrid powertrain models. The base Mazda CX-90 3.3 Turbo Select trim will start at $40,970*, while the pinnacle 3.3 Turbo S Premium Plus will start at $61,325*. 

The Mazda CX-90 has so much to offer concerning trims and engine options. For instance, the standard Tubo trim employs a 3.3-liter inline-six which yields 280 horsepower. Additionally, enthusiasts may savor the 3.3-liter engine in five trim levels. Once enthusiasts graduate beyond the desire for the base CX-90 Select, the Preferred starts at $44,820*, then the Preferred Plus for $47,275. The Japanese automaker explores an avenue less trekked than other frugal car makers with no-cost second-row captain chairs and a 5,000-lb towing capacity for the Plus. Upwards of the Plus, the Premium premiers at $50,275*, and the Premium Plus starts at $54,325*. When the MX-5 maker announced they wanted to move the lineup up to the luxury segment, it meant just that. For instance, the CX-90’s standard features revealed a powered panoramic roof, Bose 12-speaker sound system, and for the Plus trim, a 12.3-inch touchscreen. 

The actual star of the show is the new PHEV setup which will be available through the Preferred trim and reveals a starting price of $48,820*. If enthusiasts crave more from their Hybrid CX-90, the Premium trim starts at $54,275*. Further, the CX-90 Premium features a 3,500-lb towing capacity, while the Premium Plus climbs to $58,325*. 

Then there’s the range-topping Turbo S motor which forges 340 horsepower and holds a commanding starting price of $53,125*. However, the Premium premieres at $57,825* while the Premium Plus begins at $61,325*. Both luxury trims of the three-row Mazda include a standard six-seat layout, which is optional for the Turbo S (base trim). 

Here are some fun facts about the Mazda CX-90. The Premium trim features customizable driver settings that enthusiasts can automatically apply through facial recognition. In addition, the Plus offers more luxurious materials throughout the cabin, along with ventilated seats for the first two rows and heated second-row captain’s chairs. Moreover, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 is only $945 higher than its predecessor, the CX-9, but the all-new SUV redefines how the Japanese automaker defines luxury.
