Mazda recently unveiled pricing details for its new releases, the 2025 CX-70 and CX-70 Hybrid. Beginning at $40,445* (excludes taxes and destination fees), the standard two-row SUV escalated to $55,900 in the top S Premium Plus trim.

In contrast, the plug-in-hybrid model has a narrower price range, commencing at $54,400 and peaking at $57,540. The Mazda CX-70 reveals two rows of seating and offers fewer trim options than the three-row CX-90. The disparity in trim levels explains the slightly higher base price, as the CX-70 initiates with the well-appointed Preferred model rather than the CX-90’s base Select trim at $37,845*.

Aligning the 2025 Mazda CX-70 models with their counterparts in the older Irish twin, the CX-90 reveals identical pricing across the board, given that the CX-70 essentially serves as a two-row version of the CX-90. However, this price equivalence might fluctuate marginally upon the release of 2025 CX-90 pricing.

The CX-70 shares the same turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine and 48-volt hybrid system as the CX-90, delivering 280 hp in the Preferred, Premium, and Premium Plus trims and 340 hp in the sportier S trims, starting at $52,540* for the S Premium. Transitioning from the base Preferred model to the mid-grade $45,940* Premium trim introduces 21-inch wheels and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, among other enhancements.

Upgrading to the $48,900* Premium Plus adds luxurious Nappa leather and comfort features like a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats. The top-tier S Premium Plus trim, priced at $55,950*, boasts tan quilted Nappa leather upholstery and refined suede inserts for the dashboard.

The plug-in-hybrid powertrain from the Mazda CX-90 also carries over, featuring a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor producing a combined 323 horsepower, available exclusively in Premium and Premium Plus variants priced at $52,450 and $55,950 respectively. Both hybrid trims offer an onboard battery estimated to deliver around 26 miles of electric driving per charge. All three powertrains are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and come standard with all-wheel drive. The initial CX-70 SUVs will hit the market later this spring (2024), with more affordable options following suit in the Summer and Fall (2024).
