The Mazda CX-80 Prepares the US for the Mazda CX-90

Mazda’s goals continue to come to fruition now that the new CX-50 has had its turn to captivate enthusiasts; the CX-80’s up next. Unfortunately, the Mazda CX-80 won’t have a chance to impact the American market. But the Japanese automaker knows that the US deserves bigger and better; thus, the CX-90 draws one step closer to America. 

Mazda CX-90 Expectations 

The 2024 Mazda CX-90 may debut a lot sooner than we anticipated. Spy photos recently revealed the three-row SUV gliding around for a test drive. Nonetheless, the Mazda SUV was coated in camouflage. Yet, despite the subtle disguise, there were some things that the Japanese automaker could not conceal, so here’s what we can’t wait to get our hands on. 

Initially, Mazda promised to create new vehicles to satisfy America’s appetite. The Japanese automaker’s iconic CX-9 or CX-5 are efficient beauties that lack for those larger families in regards to passenger and cargo capacity. Yet, the powerhouse SUVs remain impeccable for those rugged adventures. 

The CX-50 jumped in to take care of those bigger families. As the Mazda SUV offers more space for its passengers and cargo. In addition, the new CX-50 offers off-road capabilities that no one ever fathomed from the “Zoom-Zoom” automaker. The CX-80 will launch in the European market and provide insight into the CX-90. 

Much like the CX-80, the CX-90 will provide three rows of seating. The future Mazda SUV offers a capacity for up to seven or eight passengers, similar to the Mazda CX-9. However, the American-oriented SUV will reveal a boxier frame and a higher roofline for more headroom for our taller enthusiasts. Furthermore, there may also be enough room for large adults in the third row. 

When will Mazda Release More Information about the CX-90? 

The CX-90 may make its grand debut before this year ends (2022). However, the three-row SUV may premiere before the CX-70 comes out to play. We may learn more about the Mazda CX-90 during the SEMA show (November 1 – November 4, 2022). 

We’re channeling our inner Umbrella Academy here, but we heard a rumor that the CX-90 will feature many of our favorite attributes. We anticipate a smoother ride (as if the Japanese automaker’s handling couldn’t get any better), receptive handling, and elegant performance. Most importantly, we look forward to Mazda’s new spin on its lush interiors and modern technology that emphasizes safety. We’re excited to witness the Japanese automaker provide the space families need without altering the attributes enthusiasts know and love.
