The 2024 Mazda CX-30 Attains a Prive Increase
Mazda has recently announced that the prices of all trim levels of its popular Mazda CX-30 model lineup for 2024 have increased significantly. This comes along with the introduction of a new Carbon Turbo trim option and an updated infotainment system. This increase in prices affects entry-level and premium versions of the CX-30, leaving potential buyers with higher price tags.
For instance, the base-model 2024 Mazda CX-30 2.5 S now costs $24,995, which is $2,045 higher than last year’s price. This could be a disappointment for those who were hoping to purchase Mazda’s compact SUV on a budget. Unlike the CX-5 and CX-50, which received price increases due to major trim shakeups and recalibrations, the CX-30’s price increase is a straightforward one.
It’s worth noting that despite the price increase, the base CX-30 2.5 S still offers notable features. These include LED lights, 16-inch aluminum wheels, an 8.8-inch touchscreen with compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Mazda’s i-Activsense suite of driver-assist technologies. In addition to these, the base model now comes with blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert as part of the standard driver-assist tech suite, as well as standard USB-C charging connectivity ports.
The base model of the CX-30 still comes with its 191-horsepower naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine, six-speed automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel drive platform.
In terms of the middle trim levels, there aren’t many significant changes in pricing. The CX-30 2.5 S Premium gets a $490 increase, bringing its price up to $31,990, while the 2.5 S Preferred sees a more modest bump of $240, now priced at $28,790. Furthermore, Mazda has restructured the trim levels, with the Select being replaced by the new 2.5 Carbon Turbo package and the 2.5 S Select Sport.
The Carbon Turbo trim level was introduced a few months ago as a styling package that focuses on darkened elements. This package includes exclusive features such as the Zircon Sand exterior color, Terracotta leatherette, and black suede-trimmed seats. The price of this package is $32,790.
