It’s been thirty-three years since the grand debut of the Mazda Miata at the Chicago Auto Show, and fans are still in awe of the fabulous roadster. Since then, the little sports car has attained several refinements, including a few British efforts and the Japanese automaker’s resiliency. However, many Miata enthusiasts fear what the future holds for the sports car during this electric transition. However, the Miata’s horizon never looked so bright.

Additionally, the Skyactiv-X will help the Japanese automaker meet strict emissions regulations in the future. There will come a time when the Miata will have to change, but at this time, the Roadster is one heck of a thrill.
