Mazda Reacquaints US with the Rotary Engine

After all, the RX-Vision makes for a perfect addition to the automaker’s current lineup. Although there’s no official word on releasing the lushes sports cat, here’s some need to know about the Mazda RX-Vision. 

The Mazda RX-Vision Premiered in 2015 

Shockingly enough, the RX-Vision is an 8-year-old infant. Revealed in November 2015, there’s nothing new about this beautiful baby. The Mazda sports car is highly anticipated by fans and spectators alike, with the automaker implying that the vehicle mirrors its KODO – Soul of Motion design philosophy. 

A Concept Worth Waiting for 

Often, a concept vehicle remains a concept for a few years, but the RX-Vision is taking a bit longer to make its way to showrooms and inventories. However, a concept car endures significant alterations before becoming production-ready. Yet, once it’s all said and done, most concepts don’t make it past the assembly line. Nonetheless, the Japanese automaker appears to hold unwavering faith in the RX-Vision, and we have to bite our nails to the bone a little longer. 

Have a Game Controller? 

Anyone with a PlayStation 4 or 5 can play with the Mazda RX-Vision in Gran Turismo 7 and Gran Turismo Sport. However, there are a few technicalities with using the sports car on the race track. Gamers can buy the RX0Vison with 450,000 credit of in-game currency or by signing a Manufacturer Cup contract with Mazda for one season. Further, Gran Turismo fans may use the sports car to win the cup. 

The Mazda Resemblance

Look close enough, and Mazda’s modern models take on the allure of the Mazda3 and 6 with a similar grille shape, headlights, and taillight design. Additionally, some front and rear bumper pieces favor each other on Mazda models as well. Parallel design cues are a strategic move from the Japanese automaker since enthusiasts and spectators alike will have no problems recognizing any model cruising down the road. 

The Mazda Commitment 

Mazda coupes are light in weight, sporty, and a great time on the road. The Mazda RX-7, RX-8, underappreciated MX-6, the Mazda 3, and 6 were fun with precise handling and a peppery engine. However, those Zoom-Zoom models are long gone, and the MX-5 is the only fun time enthusiasts can savor from the automaker. 

While the Mazda 6 delivers a sporty time, it’s a four-door and not a sports car. The automaker’s commitment to the RX-Vision implies that fun times are approaching. 

The Mazda RX-Vision, maybe the RX-9?

Mazda’s RX series is sacred and beloved amongst Mazda enthusiasts. Fans are eager to witness the RX model come back to life so much that they foresee the next vehicle to be known as the RX-9.
