Here’s What We Know About the 2024 Mazda CX-70
Have you heard the news? Mazda is expanding its SUV lineup to include a new two-row mid-size model called the CX-70. This new vehicle boasts a new platform and is expected to be more luxurious than the brand’s smaller CX-5 and CX-50 SUVs. Rumor has it that a plug-in-hybrid drivetrain will be available, along with an inline-six engine with a 48-volt hybrid system—just like the powertrains found in the larger CX-90, not to mention many BMW and Mercedes models. While Mazda hasn’t yet revealed the CX-70, we expect it to look similar to the Europe-market CX-60 (pictured) but will feature a wider body. Its interior will offer more space than the CX-5’s and will likely be dressed in premium materials. Overall, this is an exciting development for Mazda and SUV enthusiasts alike!
Mazda is introducing an all-new SUV called the CX-70, which is supposed to be the perfect fit between the smaller CX-50 and the larger CX-9. This is exciting news for anyone who is looking for a versatile and capable crossover vehicle. I also read that Mazda is working on upgrading its range of crossovers, and there is a new three-row model called the CX-90 that is set to hit U.S. dealerships soon. It sounds like Mazda is really committed to providing its customers with the best possible options when it comes to crossovers, and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store.
I’m not sure about the pricing for the CX-70 as it hasn’t been announced yet. However, I do expect it to offer a range of trim levels similar to other Mazda models. What we do know is that all-wheel drive will come standard, but we don’t know which powertrain configurations will be included. It looks like the plug-in-hybrid might cost a bit more, but we’ll have to wait for official information on that.
It seems like the upcoming CX-70 from Mazda will be quite versatile when it comes to engine options. According to reports, it may offer either an inline-six gasoline engine with a 48-volt hybrid system or a plug-in-hybrid drivetrain with a 2.5-liter inline-four. The inline-six is expected to be the same powerful engine found in the CX-90, while the plug-in-hybrid model will share its powertrain with the CX-60. The CX-70 will also feature a new platform with a longitudinal engine layout, which should provide superior handling and performance. Additionally, all CX-70s will come standard with all-wheel drive, which is a nice bonus. Overall, the CX-70 looks like it will be a great choice for those who want a luxury SUV experience without breaking the bank.
I’m excited to share that the CX-70 is going to be a fantastic SUV! It’s going to have two rows of seats and will comfortably fit up to five passengers. What’s more, the CX-70 is going to have a luxurious cabin that will rival many of its similarly priced competitors. From what I’ve heard, the interior will be made with only the finest materials, including woven textiles, Nappa leather, and wood trim. I can’t wait to see the final design of the dashboard – I’m sure it’s going to be absolutely stunning!
I’ve heard that the CX-70 is going to have a huge infotainment screen, possibly as big as 12.3 inches! That’s similar to the screen on the CX-60, which is a global model. I think the screen will be controlled using a rotary knob on the center console, which should be really convenient. And it’s great to hear that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will come standard – those are really useful features!
